In this class you will learn how to make various recipes of Family Feel Good Food:

July 2021 Recipes:

Week of July 1st: Homemade Pasta with Fennel and Leek. Ingredients and Recipe We'll learn the tricks to making basic egg pasta and how to shape into tagliatelle. We will then make a simple but utterly delicious fennel and leek pasta sauce.

Week of July 8th:
Crispy Chilli Beef with Egg Fried Rice Ingredients and Recipe A slight take on a sweet and sour sauce that is totally addictive with crispy beef. This works amazingly well with tofu for a veggie/vegan version.

Week of July 15th:
No Class.

Week of July 22nd:
Chicken Ballotine Ingredients and Recipe With ultimate mash potato and green beans - this class is all about some classic French cookery skills. A dish to learn to impress friends and family. We'll learn the technical skill of shaping a ballotine as well as some of the tricks to sauce making. Served with creamy delicious mash and crispy green beans.

Week of July 29th:
Chicken Stock and BBQ Ingredients and Recipe Learn how to butcher a chicken into 8 pieces. We'll then make a delicious (and useful) chicken stock with the carcass and marinade the jointed chicken in a mouthwatering Korean BBQ marinade.

Meet Our Instructor

Sarah Anderson
Sarah has been passionate about food since childhood where she was raised on her family farm, eating seasonal produce as well as raising livestock. Fast forward a 15 year career in the finance industry and with two young children, Sarah returned to her passion of food and cooking full time.

Sarah trained at Tante Marie, the oldest cookery school in the country, and gained a Cordon Bleu diploma. The intensive course enabled her to refine the home cook skills learnt over the years and emerge as a skilled chef. She takes classic cordon bleu cooking and applies the skills to every day, nourishing food.

The food journey has evolved further post college and Sarah has discovered a love of educating others to find kitchen confidence. She loves teaching others the ability to cook feel good food that nourishes mind and body, whilst being considerate to our environment and the planet. Sarah's email:
