The Self Defense Survival Workout teaches people how to defend themselves against an attack and increase their chances of survival. Each session includes physical movements, and scenario/practical situation training. Some of the techniques taught and learned will be punches and strikes, weapons of opportunity, chokes and counter to chokes, how to reduce risk in public spaces, how-to maximize safety on the subway and keeping your mind ready and aware.

Gardea adopts a holistic approach to fitness, emphasizing the importance of a healthy psyche leading to healthy behaviors, which ultimately results in a healthy mind and body.
