Practice Public Speaking

This is an informal session where you get to practice quick thinking, public speaking and giving feedback! Participants will receive a random prompt and then have a limited amount of time to prepare and speak on it. In the past we’ve had prompts such as ‘Why children should pay rent’, ‘Convince the group why drinking in public is classy and not trashy’ and ‘Why Elvis would make a great president’.

Marvin Olivier-Mfumu
Marvin is an upcoming junior leader that leads Coronitas in the UK- the office end of week recognition ritual. He also looks after the Perks At Work website and has recently joined the Brand Partnerships team. Next Jumper since 2019.
Faisal Patel
Faisal is a serial social entrepeneur who founded his first social enterprise when he was 19, to help young people in East London. Having worked with the likes of Tory Lanez, Lil Pump, Malik Yusef and Giggs, he uses his 7+ years of experience in the entertainment industry to help better the lives of young people from impoverished backgrounds. At NxJ he is an engineer who also helps run our Adopt A School initiative and loves running the Robotics classes at Netley Primary School.
