Meet Our Instructor

Sam Brady
Sam has been a 305 Fitness instructor for 3 years. He has served as the company’s Instructor Talent Manager, and now is a frequent cast member of the 305 At Home team, delighting clients with dance workouts right from their living room all around the globe. Sam has been dancing since he came out of the womb, and has trained extensively in many styles of dance (favorites being West African, Dancehall, House, and Hip Hop). His love of performing doesn’t stop at dancing.

Originally from Washington, DC, he graduated from the esteemed Duke Ellington School of the Arts, majoring in vocal performance. Now, when Sam’s not instructing, he serves as a band leader providing high-energy entertainment for corporate events, performing frequently at some of NYC’s most respected venues such as Rockefeller Center, The Plaza, The Rainbow Room, Cipriani’s, Gramercy Theater, and Soho House.

Prior to being a fitness instructor and band leader for private events, Sam served as the lead singer, director, and co-writer of an entertainment group he co-founded called Shirley House, an elaborate EDM act celebrating LGBTQ musicians, voguers (including Legendary’s Omari Oricci), and African dancers. Eventually, its popularity led to a year-long residency at McKittrick Hotel, home of the beloved “Sleep No More,” as well as endorsements from Lance Bass, Lisa Vanderpump, Nylon Magazine, and Logo’s New Now Next. Whether teaching fitness or performing, Sam loves to spread joy by helping others feel free with movement, encouraging whomever he encounters to get “out of their head, and into their body!” So get ready to move, shake, and feel un-abashed joy in his class!
