Ready to move better, feel stronger, and unlock your body’s full potential this summer? The 6-Week Supple Summer Series is a progressive mobility and flexibility program designed to help you build toward a resilient, limber body through expert-led movement sessions.
Led by a licensed physical therapist, each week focuses on intentional, evidence-based mobility work to restore range of motion, reduce stiffness, and enhance overall daily function. Whether you're an athlete looking to improve performance or simply want to feel more fluid in your day-to-day movement, this series meets you where you are.
Week 1: Foundations of Mobility- Focus Areas: breathing, spinal mobility, pelvic control; Recommended Equipment: yoga mat/padded surface, large towel, foam roller or massage ball, yoga block (optional)
Week 2: Hips- Focus Areas: hip flexors, glutes, hamstrings; Recommended Equipment: yoga blocks or firm cushion, foam roller, resistance bands (light/medium)
Week 3: Shoulders & Upper Back- Focus Areas: thoracic spine, scapula (shoulder blades), shoulders; Recommended Equipment: blank wall space, hand towel, light resistance band/tubing, massage ball (lacrosse ball or peanut)
Week 4: Ankles, Knees & Feet- Focus Areas: calves, arches, quads, foot control; Recommended Equipment: Slant Board or Rolled Up Towel, Mini band (looped resistance band), Small ball (tennis/mobility ball)
Week 5: Core Integration & Control- Focus Areas: lumbopelvic control, deep core, rib-to-pelvis connection; Recommended Equipment: Stability ball or pillow, Resistance band, light dumbbell (optional)
Week 6: Full Body Flow & Functional Freedom- Focus Areas: integrated movement, dynamic control and flow-based mobility mimicking functional daily movement patterns; Recommended Equipment: yoga mat, light kettlebell/dumbbell (option for loaded mobility), Slider discs or socks/towel on hard smooth floor
Most equipment recommendations can be substituted as participant sees fit based on access/availability

Doctor of Physical Therapy and movement enthusiast. She is passionate about the positive influences movement can have on people's lives and wellbeing. She is a telehealth Physical Therapist and virtual exercise educator. She has been practicing physical therapy for 8 years in Boston and the Greater Boston area.
