Barre with SWEAT Trainer Britany

Barre with Britany was recently launched on Sweat and has been a huge hit with members! Barre is a style of training that combines elements of ballet with Pilates, but you don’t need to be a dancer to try it.

Sweat Instructor Britany Williams, has created a 40 minute workout that is suitable for all levels of fitness and done at home using minimal equipment and a chair for balance. Barre with Britany is low-impact and combines barre with high-intensity training, so you get more from your workout.

Meet Our Instructor

Britany Williams
Originally from San Antonio, Texas, Britany loved all forms of sport growing up and pursued running in college, participating in multiple NCAA Division 1 Championships. Britany introduced Barre to her routine as a way to complement her running and combat the effects of Rheumatoid Arthritis, which had depleted her strength and impacted her range of motion.

Britany brings a unique and contemporary twist to Barre, fusing traditional elements of ballet and Pilates with athletic, high intensity movements to create a fun and challenging style of Barre. Goal oriented, Britany believes success is about hard work and putting in the effort learning to see challenging moments as an opportunity to grow and move forward. As a Barre Instructor, Britany’s focus is helping women to identify their goal and implement the steps to achieve that goal through discipline and control, but most of all having fun!
