In this class, students will discover the fundamentals of audio production. Using simple software, students will have an opportunity to create narrative-based and musical audio pieces. With a focus on storytelling, kids will learn to create engaging stories and how to bring them to life using tone, sound effects and music. But most importantly students will use their voices to bring their own stories and adventures to life.

Meet Our Instructor

Lisa Fagan
Choreographer, director, dancer and educator based in Brooklyn, NY. Recent work in NYC has been presented by Target Margin Theater (2019/20 Artist in Residence with collaborator Catherine Brookman, composer), Bard College (Choreographer, PROMENADE by Maria Irene Fornes, Dir. Morgan Green, Bard College theater dept), HERE Arts (with composer Catherine Brookman), Mabou Mines(Warm Line with Hannah Mitchell, Resident Artist Program), The Exponential Festival (2019/20 Exponential Fellow), Ars Nova (ANT FEST), New York Live Arts (2017/18 Fresh Tracks Artist in Residence), Movement Research, Gibney, Center for Performance Research, Roulette, Gelsey Kirkland Arts Center, BAX, and The 92nd Street Y, among others. As a performer she’s landed in theaters, museums, basements, shipping crates, walls, and on the Highline without permission. Fagan is also the creator/director of CAMP: Collaborative Arts Mobility Project, an experimental summer arts residency program for artists across disciplines entering its 6th season.
