Sensei Zelda's Intermediate Karate course is designed to teach students in the COA Community* the full Karate-Do Ken Wa Kan Curriculum (Traditional Japanese Karate) for the level of White/Blue Belt (11th Kyu). The course will be held on COA Thursdays for 16 weeks. Upon completion of this 16-week training course, students will receive a certificate of promotion** to signify their karate training level.
Each class will be 45-minutes long and will build on the basic punches & kicks and fight techniques students have learned in the COA Beginner Karate class as well as teach new techniques, stances and kata (forms) that all White/Blue Belt students are required to know. Class is designed to increase focus, and develop self-discipline, confidence, cooperation and cognitive skills in a responsible and cooperative online community. On the final day of the program (week 16), parents are invited to observe their children in their online promotion ceremony (similar to a recital).
