Just starting your day? Or perhaps you're on your lunch break? Take a moment and join Sarah Nichols - International Voice, Accent, and Communication Coach - as she gets you and your voice ready for your speaking engagements of the day.
You might be thinking, "I don't need a vocal warm-up...I'm not a singer!" But consider this:
1. The voice is a set of muscles. Just like a professional athlete would warm up their muscles for their sport, you will benefit from warming up your vocal muscles, as those are likely the ones you will use most in a day!
2. If speaking is an integral part of your job, that makes you a "professional voice user." And as a professional voice user, it is important to prepare your voice for optimum performance, and to avoid strain and injury.
Leave this class with skills that you can take with you to prepare for your next speaking engagement, and notice how much of a difference it makes!
