You will need a journal/ notepad and pen. It is recommended that you find a quiet space to participate.

Join Jules in this class honoring “Time to Talk Day”, a day focused on creating supporting communities by having open conversations with your family, friends, or colleagues about mental health. Have you ever wondered what is Mental Health and what part you can play in it? Did you ever wish to speak to a special someone but felt that you could not open up or the other person did not open up to you either? In this interactive class we will: • Focus on the importance of healthy communication and sharing for positive mental health. • Talk through stigmas and barriers around why people don't talk about their mental health. • Discuss the importance of and benefits of connection and validation, including choosing the right people to share your stories with. • Discuss MHFA England's recommendations of how to talk about your mental health and listen to others about their own. At the end of the class there will be a poll to decide whether to end with 10 minutes of breakout rooms, where people could get a chance to share their stories or people to share one at a time, getting the support and feedback of the entire group in a kind and mindful manner. Disclaimer: Please note that Jules is not a mental health professional and this class does not constitute as therapy in any way, nor can she provide any diagnosis during the session. Jules will share links on her handout after class with suggestions of further support should you feel the need to explore these options. This session is designed to highlight the importance of communication and how sharing the right way and the right people can be helpful for positive mental health.

Jules Hobbs Bott
Jules Hobbs Bott, of Mental Wealth, is a Mindset & Lifestyle coach. Her focus is to help you to be your authentic self and live a rich and meaningful life through the power of mindfulness. It all starts with a mindful moment in her classes and on her successful podcast, Mental Wealth with Jules.

Her experience spans sections of the health and fitness industry, including fitness instructing, personal training, and sports massage.
